Workshop on Real and Momentum Space Topology July 24-26, 2025

Topological magnetic textures and electronic topological materials have largely been studied as separate fields. However, early theories, inspired by superfluid helium, suggest a fundamental connection between topological band structures (momentum-space topology) and topological magnetic textures (real-space topology). Their interplay could give rise to exotic phenomena otherwise not possible. The goal of this workshop is to foster discussions on these topics by bringing together experts from both fields, paving the way for a more transformative and interdisciplinary research direction.
