In particular I am interested in developing innovative software and security technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Currently a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, I have obtained two joint master&#8217;s degree in computer science from the Technische Universit\u00e4t Berlin (Germany) and University of Trento (Italy) in 2016; I also have a Bachelor&#8217;s degree from the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, where I graduated in 2014 with first class honors, within the top 2% of my class.<\/p>\n<p>This coming summer (2018) I will be joining as an intern the product security engineering team at Github&#8217;s San Francisco office. Previously I have worked as a software engineer at SoundCloud&#8217;s Berlin headquarter (2017), developing and strengthening SoundCloud&#8217;s backend for user authentication and authorization experience. In between my studies, I have interned at Bosch Power Tools (Suffolk, UK) developing the electronics of robotic lawn movers (2014); at Bosch Connected Device and Solutions GmbH (Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Germany) working on software test automation for BCDS&#8217;s smart parking new product (2016); at Fraunhofer Institute IPK (Berlin) I worked on applied machine learning in person re-identification (2016) and at Technische Universit\u00e4t Kaiserslautern\u00a0(Rheinland Pfalz, Germany) I have done research in control engineering as a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) RISE scholar (2013).<\/p>\n<p>I am always looking for new adventures, so far I have lived in eight cities in six countries spreading over three continents.
