Overview
The Notre Dame AIAA student branch strives to create community, competence, and confidence in students who are interested in pursuing careers in the aerospace industry. As the only undergraduate professional society on campus, AIAA facilitates connections between students, faculty, and leading industry members so they may seek mentorship and further understand different paths across the industry.
AIAA features a variety of events that are designed to engage students, including our Faculty Dinner Series, A Day in the Life Q&A sessions, and aerospace-centric career fair preparation events. AIAA is currently undergoing an expansion process and hopes to introduce tours of regional aerospace facilities as further means to expose students to the possibilities that aerospace has to offer.
Rocketry Team, Design Build Fly, Irish Sat and Sigma Gamma Tau are all parts of Notre Dame AIAA’s mission to support and provide opportunities for students interested in aerospace.
