Sigma Gamma Tau (SGT) is the American honors society in the field of aerospace engineering. It seeks to reward and recognize talented individuals who have shown excellence and made significant contribution to the aerospace field. Each year, the University of Notre Dame chapter offers membership to a select group of aerospace engineering students in each class. Invitees should display not only academic achievement, but passion and desire to use their gifts to make a positive impact on the world. Once inducted, students are SGT members for life – a title associated with scholarship, integrity, drive, and achievement.
