Rector

Fr. Robert Lisowski, C.S.C. is a native of Scranton, Pennsylvania. A product of Diocesan Catholic schools, Fr. Robert matriculated to St. John’s University in Queens, New York. It is from St. John’s that he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy summa cum laude, along with minors in Classics and Psychology. Following graduation, Fr. Robert entered formation for the Congregation of Holy Cross at the University of Notre Dame, professing his first vows in July of 2016. He graduated from Notre Dame in 2020 with the Master of Divinity Degree. Fr. Robert professed his final vows and was ordained to the diaconate in September of 2020 and was ordained a presbyter in April of 2021. Throughout his years of formation, Fr. Robert has participated in a variety of ministries including parish faith formation, hospital/hospice chaplaincy, undergraduate teaching, and Assistant Rector for Dillon Hall. He has spent summers living and ministering with Holy Cross communities in France and India. Fr. Robert served as the inaugural Rector of Baumer Hall during the academic year of 2020-2021. He also serves as chaplain to the Track and Field and Cross Country Teams, as well as engaging in ministry with international students and those from diverse religious traditions.
