The deadline to register for the first annual Elisabeth Haub School of Law Environmental Law & Policy Hack Competition is September 1, 2020, and team proposals are due on October 1, 2020.
The final round judges will include Prof. Shelby Green (Haub Law) and Prof. Julie Cheslik (UMKC Law School). The three finalist teams will present via Zoom on Friday, November 13 beginning at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern).
The competition seeks to help students recognize and develop the connections between law and policy; catalyze the conceptualization and implementation of creative and thoughtful solutions to pressing environmental problems; encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement; and further Haub Law’s commitment to advancing environmental protection through student-centered policy development and implementation. The updated official competition rules and inaugural problem are attached and available at website.
