Co-Presidents

Jack Newell
Jack is a senior from Albany, New York, majoring in Global Affairs and Spanish with a minor in Asian Studies. In addition to his involvement with College Democrats, he is Co-President of the Notre Dame Student Policy Network and an Undergraduate Fellow at the O’Brien International Security Center. Jack has previously interned for Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Congressman Paul Tonko. He’s looking forward to promoting progressive change on campus and beyond!
Naasei Lynn
Naasei is a senior from Portland, Oregon, majoring in Political Science with minors in Africana Studies and Education, Schooling, and Society. On campus, he is involved with Domers Mentoring Kids and the Pre-Law Student Board. Naasei has worked with Democratic campaigns and has interned in the U.S. Senate. He is excited to work with the new executive board and help build another strong year for CDems!

Vice Presidents

Alex Funk
Alex is a sophomore studying Political Science, History, and Public Service. She lives in Lewis Hall and is originally from Stillwater, Minnesota. Alex is excited to bring a pragmatic approach to politics and advocate for common-sense policies.
Jorden Beck
Jorden is a junior from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, studying Political Science and American Studies with minors in Accounting and the Hesburgh Program in Public Service. He previously studied in Washington, D.C. with the Notre Dame Washington Program, where he worked in the House of Representatives. On campus, he is an AnBryce Scholar living in Coyle Hall. He is active in College Democrats, Student Policy Network, the Student Coalition for Immigration Advocacy, and serves on the President’s Speakers Bureau. This summer, he is excited to work to flip Oklahoma with Jena Nelson and Cyndi Munson. He is excited to see what this club can accomplish!

Directors

Darren Tanubrata, Finance
Darren is a senior from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, studying Business Analytics and ACMS with a minor in Theology. He previously did a study abroad term in Ireland at Trinity College, Dublin. On campus, in addition to serving on the executive board of College Democrats, he is active in Student Policy Network and ND Listens. He is excited for another great year with CDems!
Sophia Lekeufack, Political
Sophia is a sophomore from Boyds, Maryland (just outside DC), studying Political Science and the Program of Liberal Studies. In addition to College Democrats, on campus she is involved in the Club Coordination Council, the Observer, the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program, and Tour Guides. Sophia is looking forward to building a headstrong coalition of Democrats at Notre Dame!


Elizabeth Panfile, Communications
Elizabeth is a sophomore from Mendham, New Jersey, studying Political Science and ACMS with a minor in Data Science. Along with College Democrats, she is involved in the Student Policy Network, the Club Coordination Council, and the Notre Dame Irish Dance Club. She is excited to be currently working on a democratic campaign in her district! Elizabeth is looking forward to a great year of CDems!
