CMND 2026 Thematic Program: Algebraic Combinatorics and Applications

The Center for Mathematics at the University of Notre Dame will host a two-week thematic program “Algebraic combinatorics and applications” from June 29 to July 10, 2026. The first week will consist of two learning workshops held in parallel, one for undergraduate students and another for graduate students and postdocs. The second week will be an international research conference. Funding is available for undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs (see the links on the right panel).

June 29 – July 3, 2026 Undergraduate and Graduate/PostDoc Week

Amanda Burcroff (Massachusetts Institute of Technology): Cluster algebras
Colleen Robichaux (University of California, Los Angeles): Schubert calculus

Graduate/postdoc mini-course lecturers:
Thomas Lam (University of Michigan): Positive geometries
Pavlo Pylyavskyy (University of Minnesota): T-systems and integrability
Jessica Striker (North Dakota State University): Webs and alternating sign matrices

July 6 – July 10, 2026 International Conference Week
