I am currently a first year Ph.D. student in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. Before coming to Notre Dame, I received a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Theory at the University of California, San Diego. My primary interests include Political Philosophy, Critical Theory, and 19th and 20th century Continental philosophy. I have additional interests in feminist philosophy, Mexican philosophy, social philosophy, psychoanalysis, and ethics. I am particularly interested in exploring the desires and social structures which motivate political action, especially when those actions seem to contradict the genuine desire for human fulfillment.
