We are excited to soon begin the 2024/2025 cycle of the Comparative Politics Workshop! The 2024 fall schedule is out and can be found here!
The Comparative Politics Workshop at the University of Notre Dame is a graduate student-led forum geared towards presenting and discussing papers and research projects during the academic semester. The workshop provides an intimate setting for graduate student scholars to showcase and receive feedback on their research papers, prospectuses, and dissertations. Our research covers all world regions, including religion and politics, political parties and partisanship, democratic development, and much more. Workshops include not only graduate students but also faculty members and Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellows who work alongside students by providing constructive feedback on their research in progress.
This page is also a place to find information regarding the Comparative Politics field and other related events. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at gdefreit@nd.edu. We look forward to an exciting, enriching, and productive year ahead!
