My teaching spans middle and high school classrooms, undergraduate teaching assistance at Notre Dame, and community education at the St. Joseph County Jail in Indiana. Across these settings, I am interested in how educational environments can foster belonging, invite students into new ways of understanding themselves and others, and create spaces where their experiences and perspectives are valued. I approach teaching as a practice of building relationships, with a focus on cultivating curiosity, and helping students recognize themselves as capable participants in a shared intellectual community.
