I’m a first-year PhD student working with long-term vegetation and climate data to help validate and improve current ecoclimate models for the PalEON Project. In particular, I’m interested in how fire and disturbance drive vegetation shifts over time, using historical data to assess these trends, and then using this understanding to improve our process-driven models of modern forests.
