Parker Edwards

Research

My research focuses on mathematical foundations, algorithms, and applications which quantify shape in high-dimensional data sets. These combine approaches from topological data analysis, applied algebraic geometry, and machine learning.

Background

I completed an MSc in Mathematics & Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Oxford in 2016 and my PhD at the University of Florida in 2020. Currently, I am a Robert and Sara Lumpkins Postdoctoral Research Associate in the ACMS Department.

Starting August 2023 I will be an Assistant Professor in Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Mathematical Sciences.
