On Friday, folks with hotel accommodations will be staying at the Courtyard Hotel in downtown South Bend.
The hotel is located at 121 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, South Bend, IN 46601
Check in is at 3pm and check out is 12pm.
Our event on Friday afternoon/evening will be at the Century Center — this is directly across the street from the hotel. There are a variety of fun bars downtown that our graduate students frequent if anyone is interested in them. Spirited (105 E Jefferson Blvd) is just around the corner from the hotel and is a sort of spooky bar, fitting the time of year. The Whiskey Exchange and Fiddler’s Hearth are also great options, both are within walking distance of the hotel
On Saturday, we will meet in the Jordan Hall of Science. Coffee, lunch, and breaks will be held in the main galleria (the main atrium when you enter the building) and we will move into one of the main lecture halls for presentations. Free parking can be found in two locations, each is about a quarter mile walk to Jordan Hall. Both lots should be open.
