Ethan completed his B.S. in biochemistry at Michigan Technological University. He is a PhD candidate in Dr. Rich Taylor’s lab at Notre Dame where he studies the asymmetric total synthesis of polyketide natural products.
Joash Lau – Committee Co-Chair
Joash completed his B.S. in chemistry at Brigham Young University – Idaho. He is currently a second year graduate student in the Bradley Smith lab at Notre Dame where he studies the synthesis of fluorescent squaraine dyes.
Hao Xu – Committee Member
Hao received his B.S in Chemistry from University of Connecticut with a minor in Molecular and Cell Biology. He is now a third year graduate student in Dr. Brian Blagg’s lab, and he is currently working on development of Grp94 selective-inhibitors.
Alexandre Renon – Committee Member
Alexandre Renon is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. He earned a B.S. degree in chemistry from Northeastern University in 2023. The focus of his doctoral research is the stabilization of biologically active protein folds using backbone N-heteroatom substitution strategies
Neeraj Maurya – Committee Member
Neeraj completed his bachelor studies at the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay India. He is a first year chemistry student in Dr. Brian Blagg’s lab where he investigates Hsp90 beta.
Amy Sorge – Committee Member
Amy is a PhD student in Dr. Christian Melander’s lab where she studies organic chemistry.
