About Q-Bio@ND and EMBRIO
Q-Bio@ND is an interdisciplinary group of quantitative biology researchers on campus, fostering collaboration across engineering, biological sciences, and physical sciences.
EMBRIO (Emergent Mechanisms in Biology of Robustness Integration and Organization) is an NSF-funded institute including Purdue University, Universidad de Puerto Rico, Indian University Bloomington, Morehouse College, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Notre Dame dedicated to solving complex biological problems through engineering approaches. EMBRIO educational and outreach activities will lead to a greater understanding of how to support transdisciplinary and cross-institutional communication and collaboration to advance science and education. EMBRIO stands to build and strengthen research collaborations, teaching, and professional engagement among research faculty and trainees and instructors across a wide range of institutional types.
