This is a summary of my paper ‘Joy, Truth, and the Search for God in Confessions X,’ which I presented to my high school students at Bishop O’Connell High School in 2020.
I wrote the text to this meditative piece on the Agony in the Garden, which was set to music by my student Matthew Brown. Matthew is now pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Composition degree at Oberlin College.
