Restored former agricultural field on the east side of the preserve. The area is dominated by young tulip poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) trees, along with many different flowering plants.
Small, ephemeral stream that connects Lydick Bog with North Chain Lake, created in the past by digging a deep culvert.
Pavilion with picnic tables next to the preserve car park, just off US 20.
