Angelina Marchi

Lina is a 2022 graduate of Indiana University South Bend where she received her B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry. Her undergraduate research sought to further characterize components of a molecular motor protein (dynein-2) in a variety of ciliated protists. She is eager to broaden her skillset as a scientist while learning more about the role pH dynamics play in cancer cell development. 

Outside the lab, Lina enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, and reading. Her current goal is to read 22 books in 2022!
