Jacob recently graduated with an M.S. in Pharmacogenomics from Manchester University’s College of Pharmacy where he was able to expand his knowledge and expertise in scientific research. Most of Jacob’s research experience during his undergraduate education was in direct patient healthcare, but it was his training in graduate school that inspired him to pursue academic research. In the White Lab, Jacob is excited to utilize his versatile education to investigate contributing mechanisms dysregulating intracellular pH, tools to manipulate pHi, and strategies to implement these insights clinically.
In his free time, Jacob can be found kayaking and hiking with his wife, Mariah. Jacob also enjoys
weightlifting, traveling, playing guitar, and enjoys bourbon and craft beer.
