Lindsey is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. She received bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and Russian studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While attending Muhlenberg College she researched the conservation of insulin signaling pathway genes across Drosophila species to better understand the evolution of signaling pathways. In the White Lab she is investigating the behavior of pH sensitive metabolic enzymes and intermediates.
Lindsey is originally from Staten Island, New York, where her family and golden retriever Domer reside. She loves visiting museums and spending time outdoors. When she has the opportunity, she loves to sit down with a good book and a cup of coffee.
