The Pan-African Youth Conference (PAYC) is an initiative of the African Students’ Association (ASA) at the University of Notre Dame that seeks to foster a common understanding and diagnosis of Africa’s challenges amongst African students and students of African descent in the United States. The inaugural edition of the conference is set to be held between March 27 – 28, 2020 at the University of Notre Dame. The Conference will bring together 50 young African students and students of African descent in the United states with the goal of fostering a common understanding of Africa’s challenges through diagnosis, debate and dialogue. The Conference deliberations will seek to establish: Who we are as Africans, where we are as a continent, and how we got where we are.
