This chapter shows the advances in forensic tools and techniques. Dr. Bass revisited where the skull was found on the side of the river in an effort to locate the small plane wreckage and the missing passenger using a sonar. The plane and missing person as of 2007 were still not found. This chapter showed that some people are just never found, but the advances that are being made in anthropology are decreasing the amount of people who are never found.
