Description
The Operations Group at the Mendoza College of Business is looking for a student worker with experience in software design, coding and debugging. He/She will assist developers with the design and implementation of various software components. Is expected to be actively involved with and contribute to actual projects. Other duties as required.
Responsibilities
• Develop applications using the Microsoft stack
• Analyzes existing code to learn how it functions
• Debug various issues that may arise
• Documentation and testing new software applications
• Assessment of new application ideas
Qualifications
• Strong analytical and skills
• Ability and desire to learn new languages/platforms
• Knowledge of Operating Systems, Object-Oriented programming
• Basic proficiency in C#, C++ or other scripting languages
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio
• Understanding of relational database principles
• Knowledge and principles of cloud-based services
• Ability to work in teams
• Strong interpersonal skills with a good sense of humor
• Exceptional work ethic, honesty and integrity
• Desire for accuracy
• Self-Motivated and the ability to work independently
