Founded in the fall of 2023, the Journal of Data and Societal Endeavors (JDSE) is a platform for disseminating Notre Dame undergraduate and graduate student research. Specifically, the JDSE presents ongoing data science research that promotes societal growth and wellbeing.
The JDSE is designed to also facilitate Notre Dame students in academic writing skills (via peer review) and to encourage engagement and collaboration with society at large in data science research.
The JDSE is a semesterly publishing journal operated from the University of Notre Dame, and is in connection with the Lucy Family Institute for Data and Society. All Notre Dame students pursuing research/projects that employ data science techniques/methods, with implications to society, are invited to submit their work with the JDSE.
