Our group utilizes a combination of large-scale numerical and analytical techniques to study the emergent properties of strongly correlated quantum materials through model calculations and comparisons against experimental spectroscopy. Specific topics of interest include:
- Intertwined orders in unconventional superconductors
- Strange metallic transport and non-Fermi liquids
- Order parameter fluctuations and pseudogaps
- Interplay of electron-phonon and electron-electron interactions
These problems have been investigated through techiniques including:
- Determinantal quantum Monte Carlo
- Cluster perturbation theory
- Maximum entropy method analytic continuation
- Exact diagonalization
- High temperature expansions
