between Leenane and Clifden.

When you arrive at Kylemore Abbey estate please park your car in the guest car park situated at the back of the Kylemore restaurant (Mitchell’s Cafe) and make your way to the visitors centre. We will have informed the visitor centre of your arrival and they will allow you to enter the estate. ‘Kylemore Abbey’ staff ARE NOT personnel of Notre Dame Global Centre.
If for any reason you shall arrive after or before opening times of ‘Kylemore Abbey’ (10am-5:30pm) please let us know as the main gate could be closed & we will need to forward you a code for it & make sure the visitor gate is also open for your arrival.
After the visitor centre walk towards the main house (Abbey), continuing past the
main entrance. The Notre Dame centre is the long low building at the right hand
side of the main house. The entrance is on the far side.
USA Participants
For participants traveling from the US to Kylemore Global Centre, two major airports serve as convenient entry points: Dublin Airport (DUB) and Shannon Airport (SNN). Upon arrival at either airport, travelers can easily access Kylemore Abbey via various transportation options. From Dublin, Kylemore is approximately a 4-hour drive, and travelers can choose to rent a car, utilize public transportation, or opt for a private chauffeur service (contact Caitriona – ccurran3@nd.edu). Shannon Airport, located closer to Kylemore Global Centre, is about a 2.5-hour drive away. Travelers arriving at Shannon Airport can similarly arrange transportation to Kylemore Global Centre through car rentals, shuttle services, or private transfers. The most convenient public transport option from Shannon and Dublin airports to Kylemore Global Centre is via bus to Galway, followed by a CityLink bus to Letterfrack. We will arrange collection from Letterfrack.
