Officers

Finley Shinnick, Co-President (fshinnic@nd.edu)

Finley is a senior living as an RA in Pasquerilla West. She is from Newbury Park, California, majoring in Math and Honors Biology. She is part of an ecological modeling lab and works on clinical, computational research projects. She is also a happy member of the ND bagpipe team. She plans to attend medical school or a combined MD/PhD program following graduation.

Matthew Proctor, Co-President (mproctor@nd.edu)

Matthew is a junior living in Keough Hall from Denver, Colorado. He is an Honors Mathematics major. In his free time, Matthew is involved in soccer analytics, enjoys playing board games with his friends, and loves skiing. After graduation, he plans to pursue a PhD in Mathematics.

Wyatt Fales, Vice President (wfales@nd.edu)

Wyatt is a senior from Newport Beach, California. He is pursuing a degree in Honors Mathematics and works as a bunker tutor and grader for the Math Department. Outside of the math department, Wyatt is an RA in Keenan Hall, which he finds really fulfilling.

Cecilia Belej, Secretary (cbelej@nd.edu)

Cecilia Belej is a sophomore from Rochester, Michigan, living in Walsh Hall. She is majoring in Honors Mathematics. Outside of math, she enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and swing dancing. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a PhD.

Beier Bao, Junior Class Representative (bbao@nd.edu)

Beier is a junior living in Pasquerilla East. She is from Shanghai, China. She double majors in Honors Math and Philosophy. In her free time, Beier enjoys cooking, practicing archery, and rock climbing. After graduation, she is interested in pursuing a PhD in Mathematics.

Justin Drees, Sophomore Class Representative (jdrees@nd.edu)

Justin is a sophomore living in Keough Hall from Toledo, Ohio. He is majoring in Honors Math and Stats. Outside of class, Justin enjoys traveling, playing quizbowl, and watching the greatest movies of all time. You can often find him at Mass somewhere (he’s a roaming Catholic)! He plans to pursue an MD after graduation.
