Who Can Donate?

Any laboratory on campus at Notre Dame can donate working equipment to ND LIGHTS. To date, ND LIGHTS has received donations from individual research laboratories, centers, and teaching laboratories. Instrumentation encompasses any lab equipment, including glassware and other accessories.

ND LIGHTS will process the appropriate paperwork to assure the donated items are surplus and able to be given as charitable donations.  If the item can support high school curriculum, an experiment will be developed using the item(s).  ND LIGHTS will then find a recipient in need of the equipment.  The recipient teacher will be trained on the item use and experiment method.
