Sergio Lucero Visit
Sergio Lucero is an ND Aerospace Engineering Alum and is currently the Director of Operations at Stellar Access. He was involved in the founding of SHPE and will be on campus on the following dates:

– This is a great opportunity to learn about Stellar Access and any of his other experiences.

SHPExchange is a two day online event devoted entirely to a specific industry or related industries. Industry-leading companies will bring speakers focused on industry-specific topics and a targeted career fair will be hosted at the end of every event.

Jane Street Technology Programs (FIRST YEARS ONLY)Jane Street has two upcoming first-year opportunities! Both applications are due February 5th  FTTP (March 2023) is crafted for students studying math, physics, CS or other STEM-related majors. No prior finance experience is required, only an interest in seeing what a career at Jane Street might look like! We are offering one session in person in our NYC office from March 28th – April 1st! All travel expenses paid!
JSIP (Summer 2023) is an 8-week summer program out of our NYC office for aspiring software engineers. Participants will develop their programming skill sets and work on an original open-source project alongside a Jane Street mentor. Jane Street will provide a scholarship and NYC housing accommodations for all participants.

Accenture is hosting a SHPE Professional Success Panel Discussion on how the accelerated pace of technology is changing businesses and creating new career opportunities. This January, Jane Street is excited to host our INSIGHT program in NYC. They welcome women and other gender minorities to apply. Selected students will arrive in New York the evening of January 3rd and will depart the morning of January 8th. Jane Street will provide all travel to and from New York, housing, a variety of social events throughout the week and a $500 stipend. Deadline to apply is Sunday, October 31st – apply if this program seems right for you! Applications for their 2022 Summer Internship programs are also open!
