A company can’t “train” its way out of a diversity problem. Employers can’t “new hire” their way out of it. But when diversity is done right, it means a real boost to the bottom line, and a real benefit to corporate decision making.

  1. This article is very special to me especially as an Asian American who is trying to work in the legal market. Although I have had opportunities for diversity scholarships and other types of minority grants, it has been difficult for me as a minority to get a foot in the door for big law firms. Corporations could embrace diversity initiatives and thus improve corporate compliance so that employers can understand their customers and create specialized solutions to their problems.
