Graphite-based icephobic coating to enhance de-icing performance of PTFE based icephobic coating:

  • Enhancement of solar absorption by graphite
  • Maintaining hydrophobicity (anti-icing)

De-icing performance was improved by ~50% under glaze ice conditions in an Icing Wind Tunnel at KAIT
