Research

Currently, we have two main interdisciplinary research fields: luminescent imaging and chemical flow control. The targets applications of this research is in fluid dynamics, flow control, green energy, and biomedical applications. Our luminescent imaging research focuses on pressure- and temperature-sensitive paints, which involves a wide range of research topics such as chemical sensor development, optical characterization, and unsteady flow application in various flow regimes. Our chemical flow control research is currently focused on chemical coating developments for anti- and de-icing applications, as well as microfiber coatings for drag reduction.
