Other Areas of Interest

I am an out-of-practice pipe organist. It’s been a couple of years since I picked up the organ and played for Sunday services. I used to write songs and improvise organ music for Sunday services (and direct choirs). I also used to play folk guitar and sing (!) in Spanish and English.

Once in a while I still write a poem. A long time ago, a few were published.

Narvaez, D. (1984). The ark. The Concord, St. Paul, MN.

Narvaez, D. (1982). Fall with the Creator. The Concord, St. Paul, MN.

Narvaez, D. (1982). Sonnet for a death. The Concord, St. Paul, MN.

Narvaez, D. (1981). Meditation. The Concord, St. Paul, MN.

Narvaez, D. (1980). You are the morning. ARC Newsletter, Cambridge, MN.

Narvaez, D. (1977). Dryer. The Third Eye, New York, NY.

Narvaez, D. (1976). One poem. Colorado North Review, Greeley, CO

Having Fun

I like to cook once in a while, birdwatch laconically, and garden lazily. Sometimes you’ll catch me reading science fiction but usually I have a nonfiction book in hand.
