We turn Notre Dame’s mission to be a force for good in the world into tangible action. We are the Notre Dame chapter of the global e-NABLE network. We harness bio-design innovation to engineer, fabricate, and deliver custom prosthetics and assistive technologies at a fraction of standard costs. We are proud to gift every device completely free of charge. Founded in 2017 by Kelly Pacifico to design a custom device for our first recipient, Owen, Enable ND has grown into an officially recognized student organization uniting innovators across all majors to bridge the global medical device accessibility gap. Since our inception, we have fit a dozen users with custom devices. Our club welcomes students of all majors who have an inclination to combat the medical device accessibility gap.

Join Enable ND!
Members must attend 70% of all general meetings and pay the club dues of $5 per semester. These funds are used to purchase materials and equipment for projects. Members of the club will participate in a project team, help fundraise, and engage with community outreach.
You must be a current Notre Dame, Holy Cross, or Saint’s Mary’s student to become a full member of Enable ND. Graduate students and Notre Dame faculty/administrators may join the club as Associate Members. Associate members may not run for office and do not have voting rights.
