It would seem that the requirements which accompany the X-Visa and EB-6 Visa accurately match the goals of attempting to create an immigration structure for entrepreneurs that will contribute to the development of the U.S. economy and job creation. There is always going to be a fine line between setting business requirements for such visas that may waive on the side of being too stringent on the entrepreneur or too lenient. However, for the X-Visa, despite the fact that raising $250,000 in venture capital may be challenging, the alternative requirement of showing having $200,000 in revenue is a realistic measure and accurately captures those entrepreneurs who will be contributing to the improvement of the U.S. economy. Thus, it would appear that across the political spectrum, this should gain support.
