Implementing design thinking into legal startups and coming at the issues from a client first perspective is a good idea. The article talks about the financial crisis of 2008 and how competition for big clients intensified. My guess is that the firms with the best client first perspective retained the most clients. I am curious to know what specific, different client first perspective they are employing.
