I saw this on Linkedin!! The idea is amazing, and I thought the fact that their goods were locally sourced was interesting. The mesh the plants grow in is made from recycled plastic that is processed and sewn in Mexico. Such a cool idea! I also liked that they reused grey water, and groundwater from the streets.
Exactly! It’s almost a textbook entrepreneurial approach to solve an environmental problem.
Shandice, this was awesome. What a great solution to both improve air quality and aesthetics. The use of gray water, plastic, and highway pillars was so innovative. I hope we see more of this in the states and in other countries!
