Steve Armet, a graduate student, came in on Saturday to check out one of our reference books. The graduate students are not authorized to allow check out of library reference materials. Rather than putting the graduate students into having to make a decision about whether to allow books to be checked out or not, I would prefer that we keep it to librarians only who can sign the form. I have told Steve that if he comes in on Friday afternoon, he can check the referenc book out until Monday morning.
