This January, Jane Street is excited to host our INSIGHT program in NYC. They welcome women and other gender minorities to apply. Selected students will arrive in New York the evening of January 3rd and will depart the morning of January 8th. D. E. Shaw Research (DESRES), a New York-based scientific research group, is seeking candidates from a range of scientific disciplines to join their team.They offer summer internships for undergraduate and graduate students.  Senior Internships are available for undergraduate sophomores and juniors as well as graduate students from a range of technical disciplines, including applied mathematics, biology, chemistry, computer science, electrical or computer engineering, machine learning, materials science, and physics.  Interns spend 12–15 weeks at DESRES working closely with members of our hardware, software, or chemistry teams on a substantial engineering or research project. They also welcome applications from current undergraduate first-year students from a range of STEM majors for our Early-College Intern Program.
