Throughout the year, SWE hosts a variety of social events designed to help women engineers at Notre Dame connect, relax, and have fun outside the classroom. From coffee trucks and bouquet-making to bagel breakfasts and our annual ski trip, there’s something for everyone.

Some of our most well-loved events add a competitive twist, like our departmental gingerbread house decorating contest or the newly revived Mr. Engineering pageant. These gatherings offer a much-needed study break and help build a strong sense of community between underclassmen and upperclassmen alike.

While engineering at Notre Dame can be academically demanding, having a supportive group to share the journey makes every semester not only manageable, but memorable.
