Gretchen Andreasen is a first year M.S. student in the lab. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2021 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, and worked as a lab technician in the Archie lab the following year. In the lab, she worked on the gut microbiome metagenomics project, and swore never to do lab work again. Her current work involves studying baboon foraging ecology using DNA metabarcoding techniques.
