Mauna Dasari graduated from the Archie Lab in 2021. She’s currently an NSF postdoc with Dr. Kevin Kohl. Her PhD research focused on understanding how the gut microbiome changes with age, developmental stage, early life environmental conditions, and the consequences of these changes on host health and fitness. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Microbial Biology and a BA in Anthropology in 2012 and her broad research interests include behavioral ecology, microbial ecology, conservation, and gibbons.
