Law School Incubators for Recent Graduates

The ABA journal posted an interesting article about how some law schools are creating incubators for recent graduates. The programs provide new attorneys with cheap rent, mentors and networking opportunities to help get their solo practices off the ground.

  1. Since the CDO office is only significantly useful for those seeking to work in public interest, government, or at a “big” firm, maybe ND should look into establishing an incubator program for grads looking to do their own thing. The downside, of course, just like at other start-ups, participants would not have the benefit of learning from more experienced partners and seeing what it takes to run a firm, but this issues may be ameliorated with the incorporation of a mentorship program.
