With over $1 trillion in student loan debt that is non dischargeable in bankruptcy, except in extreme cases of undue hardship (a next to impossible standard), so many students are burdened by debt. There is a huge opportunity to solve the student debt crisis for both colleges and private actors, although the solutions are obviously not easy.
