Was the Women’s March an example of effective social entrepreneurship?

Interesting article in light of our discussion today of different strands of entrepreneurship. Is seems to me that the author is using the term “entrepreneur” quite liberally here. But, the details of the organizing efforts are quite interesting.

  1. Interesting. Perhaps the impromptu emergency protests that occurred over the weekend provide the same example.

  2. I thought this was a very interesting read! Personally, I think it is a bit of a stretch to classify the Women’s March as a form of social entrepreneurship. I did see the comparisons that the author was trying to make, but as Robert said, the term “entrepreneur” would have to be viewed quite liberally in order to use it in this situation.
