BioArtography, a project that originated at the University of Michigan, merges scientific imagery with artistic presentation to reveal the simple beauty within complex scientific research. These striking microscopic images aim to bridge the gap between scientists and the public. Now being reimagined as Chromatica Sciencia at the University of Notre Dame, the project continues this mission. Notably, Notre Dame established an art installation at the South Bend International Airport, bringing the captivating intersection of science and art to a wider audience. A juried art competition will resume later in 2025. You can view the current collection at Bioartography.com.
