Fall 2018 Technical Training Classes

The Fall 2018 schedule of technical training classes is here!  We’ve restructured some classes to make them shorter and added some exciting new ones. All these classes are currently available through Endeavor.nd.edu.

Google Drive classes are now 2 hours rather than 3 and we’ve added a new class—Working in Docs, Sheets, and Slides— for people interested in working in Google’s version of Microsoft Office.

Excel 2016 Basic class has been split into two sections—Introduction to Excel and Formulas and Functions. This is the same 7-hour class, but taught as two 3.5-hour sessions that you register for separately.

Other new classes:

Qualtrics classes

We have added two Level II courses (Contact Lists and Embedded Data and Working with Responses) and one Level III course (Workflow).

Data Governance Boot Camp

Learn what data governance is, why it is important to Notre Dame and how it ensures more consistent use of data.

Preparing your Digital Media Files

Learn to prepare your media files for use in media creation programs. This class will show how to perform specific functions (such as trimming video and audio files, capturing still shots from videos, and more) in a number of different applications.

Also added are multiple sections of the most popular classes: Moving from Excel to Sheets and Adobe Spark: Tell Your Story in Posts, Pages and Videos. These classes fill up fast so be sure to register early.

As always, feel free to contact the OIT technical training team with questions or for assistance at 1-7227 or training@nd.edu.
