While riding to work, Victoria Tomiczek encountered a group of Canadian Geese along the St. Joseph River. All but one bolted out the way towards the river. The one left straggling behind decided to race along side Victoria and give her a pretty good run for her money!

 

 

 

 

 

We’ve rode over 460 miles (equal to 460 RPMs)! We’re now approaching the middle of stage 7 of the Tour De France. As you make your way through this stage you will pass Ossuaire de Douaumont – a memorial containing the remains of the soldiers who died on the battlefield during the Battle of Verdun in WWI.

Get ready to begin your 2,300 mile journey here in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Leeds is the third largest city in the United Kingdom and for the first time in history will mark the beginning of the Tour De France in northern England. Previously, the tour has only visited the southern coast and capital.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you ride, be prepared to experience Leeds’ bustling streets rich in culture and the home of premier shopping districts, acclaimed art galleries, and the Grand Theatre and Opera House. Take in the beauty of Victorian architecture present throughout the city and relive history as you pass the Kirkstall Abbey (a Cistercian monastery), Lotherton Hall (a charming Edwardian country home), and Temple Newsam (owned by Henry VIII).
