New Strategies for Warfighter Health: Presenting Strategies to Combat Wound Infection at MHSRS 2025

I am pleased to announce that our abstract (ID # MHSRS-25-16717) has been accepted for a poster presentation at the 2025 Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) in Kissimmee, Florida.

We will be presenting during Poster Session 1 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, under the breakout session “Old Antibiotics, New Strategies: Repurposing & Combining FDA-Approved Drugs to Combat Wound Infection.”

Our presentation, titled “Biomimetic Nanoparticles (BANPs) for Re-Sensitizing Multidrug-Resistant Pathogens,” showcases our latest work on Phage-mimicking Antibacterial Nanoparticles (PhANPs). We will demonstrate how these nanoparticles not only serve as effective standalone antibacterial agents but also work synergistically to re-sensitize multidrug-resistant pathogens to standard antibiotics like Ertapenem and Ceftriaxone.

Come attend our poster.
